For those of you that like the bit of chrome in the grill of the Corvette, here is a cheap mod you may like.
(For those of you that think chrome on the Corvette is the work of Satan, now is the time to turn off your computer and go paint something black:))

The chrome bar in the grill makes the grill look unfinished to me.
I purchased some 1/8 chrome stick on strip and outlined the grill. Start at the center of the top to make the joint less visible and go around the grill opening, up against the grill itself. Peel and stick the strip as you go along keeping it tight up against the grill. Cut the strip when you get back to the top to butt the ends together.

If you don't like the look, you can peel it off.

For the "chrome is the work of Satan" folks that did not have anything left to paint black and stayed to read this post, feel free to flame away:) Automotive exterior Bumper Automotive design Grille Vehicle

Wow that looks really good, like it came from the factory that way and should have been an option. I'm the no chrome vette owner but thats only because the color/options I chose. If you have chrome/silver wheels I think this is a great idea. Keep up the good work. Anyone who says other wise can just get bent, haha!

I do have silver wheels on the car, if I had black, I might go the other way with the grill

I definitely like it. I'm currently wrestling with adding some pop to my LRG by getting the grill and vent crosshatched plastic out and giving in a paint and then putting it back in behind the carbon flash outer piece. But I do like your idea on the front grill. Maybe I'll just experiment with one of the less visible vents...

Thanks "lancekl," for your great chrome touch. I really like it (even though am not getting chrome wheels on my 2015). Very nicely done.

Please share where you bought it. Thanks again.

lancekl, that looks good it outlines the grill for a cleaner look and flows with the center chrome strip.

So lancekl I ordered some yesterday that should be here on Weds. and I have a question for you. I was looking at mine yesterday, and I assume you stuck the chrome strip to the colored fascia directly in front of the grill and not to the grill itself, correct?

That is correct. Up against the grill but on the colored facia.

Totally agree with SS exterior accessories. American Car Craft (ACC) have the highest quality products out there. I have a black Z51 - Kalahari - 2LT and I have been looking for a way to accent the grilles. So I've gone with ACC matrix series for the most part here a few pics including rear light stainless ring and Exahust filler. Let me know what you think, good, bad or indifferent.
