Hi guys,

my LRG coupe is on the assembly line today and like many others, I'm not enamored with the C7 badging. I'd like to remove the 'Corvette' on the rear and replace with a classic 'Stingray' badge. You can buy OEM badges from the '70s but they have pins and I'm looking for something stick on... any ideas guys?

it's very easy to make that a stick on
dremel off the pins - (sand them off)
cut VHB tape with a razor blade to fit the script...

all of a 20 min job....

The C7 Stingray Fender Logo is variant of the classic design from the first 1959 concept Stingray.
If more people realized this is part of Corvette history they might not be so critical of it or in a hurry to remove it.
I don't think this has been pointed out anywhere? See the photos of Ed Cole with the '59 Concept Stingray, I've cropped the second photo for better view of the fender logo.

If you want a "Classic" badge you've already got it

Hi regguy,

I agree on the fish logo, I'm keeping them... I'd like to put a script 'Stingray' below the fish just like on the concept, and on the rear, remove the "Corvette" and put a "Stingray" script under the right hand tail light...

There are people who can custom cut your logo from sheet pinstripe material, it would then just stick on. I had one made for a Honda that went in the pinstripe.
That way you could pick from various colors, make a size to your liking (smaller on fender / larger for rear?) and eliminate the problem of attaching a heavy metal piece

Here is a crappy (I don't have photoshop on this computer) job of seeing what the rear end might look like

I agree with Glen, way too large.
There is a company out there that I seen on "Low Rider" TV a few years ago that can CNC any logo you want in 3D. I'm sure you can find them on the internet.

Sean is sending me another one to put on that is the same exact size as the Corvette script that comes on the car. I'm doing it for promo photos. This is a vinyl application, though.

I'd raise it up centered between the lower body line and flags
i think where the old letters were...trying to be as OEM as possible...

Do what you like best, docMonty. You will find some people like it best on the side, and some like it best in the middle.
