Having another garage bay being built, wonder which will be finishes 1st.
From 3400 to delivery looks to be 30 days according to my studies. My C7 Converible is finally moving forward. It is now at 3400.

And the compounding (delaying) factor is that once for-sales convertibles come down the production line (and that may have recently started, but we don't know that for a fact), they too will undergo a quality control (GCA) hold, the length of which could be as little as two weeks, as much as a month. Only GM knows how well the convertible "test fleet" cars have been going together. If they are going together easily, and all the part-suppliers' convertible parts are meeting GM strict standards, the QC hold could be just a couple of weeks. We just do not know yet. We only know that GM beat its self-imposed deadline for delivering coupes before the third quarter was out, and it believe that they will similarly beat (think by even a larger margin), their self-imposed deadline to deliver convertibles before the fourth quarter is out. I think that customer deliveries will occur by mid-December, maybe sooner. My C7 Converible is finally moving forward. It is now at 3400.

Chip, I hope not! I believe Nashville was setup as a make shift repair area for initial issues for the coupe rollout, which I believe is behind us. The only thing that is different on the vert is the convertible top, the top mechanism, the rear deck and trunk lid. So, I would think the QC portion of the hold would be minimal. But I do think they will try to stage the verts so that they are AVAILABLE almost anywhere in the country at the same time. Just like they did with the coupes. That may create some storage issues if they run out of space in the back lot.Rich; I guess the million $ question is: Will they send them to Nashville for the QC hold? I have to think that, that will depend on how many vert. orders they have, and whether they have the space behind the plant to store them until they get the OK to release them.
Eagle3sh is keeping a close eye. His vert and my vert are almost identical down to the color and equipment. The Vins are less than 20 units apart and he also is scheduled to come off the line on Saturday. He is going to try to get a plant tour on Saturday, ...if they are open for tours. We need that guy that was taking the overhead aerial shots of the back lot @ BG to keep us up to date.
The pictures I've seen him post indicates to me (to paraphrase the movie) He don't need no stinking tour!Eagle3sh is keeping a close eye.
