I have 2014 coupe and I am considering the convertible the one question i am wondering is trunk space, I know there is limited room compared to the coupe and i haven't gone down to the dealer to measure but can anyone tell me if you can fit a sit of golf clubs in the trunk with the top down?

When they built the first C5 in 1997 one of the requirements for trunk space was two sets of golf clubs for either the coupe or convertible. That requirement has never changed as far as I know.

You might also use the passenger seat side but that may be tacky. :)

Haven't tried clubs yet, but 2 carry on sized suitcases fit end to end on their backs, with some room to spare on top for things like a lap top case or slim garment bag. That is with top down. Tons more room (not for bag of clubs, not high enough, unless it is very small bag) under where the convertible top stows when it is down, but then you can't lower top.

Plenty of room for a 2 week roadtrip for 2 or a golf game for 2....you learn the art of creative packing quickly

I have a carry set and the clubs fit easily. Never tried 2 sets.
