Convertible Water Leak

After searching the forum and seeing similar water leaks for some with coupes, I'm wondering if any convertible owners have had a problem? Washed my car yesterday and found a good size puddle of water in the passenger-side weather tech mat, about the size of a paper plate and 1/2" deep at the lowest point. Felt under the dash for a wet spot but didn't find one, but did notice the lower front corner of the passenger window was fogged on the inside of the vehicle. Since I wasn't using the pressure washer I used full stream hose with no sprayer so the car got pretty saturated. Thought I'd reach out to the forum while I do my own investigation. Next step for me will be to have the wife sit in the car with a flashlight and spy while I drench the car. Appreciate any thoughts from vert owners!

I have had no water leaks whatsoever with my convertible.

Check your window and see if seating properly. Open the top in a static stance up, check all your weather stripping, see if any piece just isn't sitting in place properly, that's a start.

Driven mine through a few monsoons, including tropical storm Cindy, which dropped 3 inches of rain on Indy last week. No leaks.

I'd start with the rubbers, look for splits. Then I'd look for light through the roof itself. Check the window seal. That sounds like a lot of water. The car realigns the windows when you activate the top. There's something in the manual about how to do that. Better yet, make GM do it under warranty.

I get no leaks when I wash the car. Have someone sit inside and identify where the water might be entering. Not normal.

Mike, I hope that you locate the leak on your C7 Masterpiece vert ASAP. Like posted it may have something to do with the weather stripping being crimped, a water leak can be a pain in the six until the point of entry is located.

Went through a deluge in Birmingham on the way to a car show in Columbus. The trip included trucks covering us up. No leaks in the '17. I owned two C7 convertibles and one coupe--no leaks in any. Charlie
