Yeah I guess. I ask my stepson who's on the drug task force if he would get a chance to have it as a ride and he said no way. His ride now is a all blacked out Camero.
Ask any officer of just about any agency that has a high performance drug bust car, how long they last when used for actual traffic or other enforcement............not long. They are usually wrecked or blown up before any appreciable use can be gotten out of them.;)

Many years ago Colton PD (CA) had a C5 that was an asset forfeited patrol car. It was painted black and white and had "Courtesy of your Local Drug Dealer" painted on it.

Too unsafe. NYSP and others learned they are not "cost effective".

Kentucky State Police has several drug confiscate Corvettes, which they usefor special occaisions. As one example, they go to their their State line and wait/welcome/escort the different regional National Corvette Caravans to the National Corvette Museum. Hope we get a big SRF turnout in for the next one, the late August, 2019 Caravan.

In addition to augment their number for those times, they ask for C7 volunteer owners to provide them additional cars for such usage, as in:

However, they often specify that the "volunteer KSP cars," which temporarily get the extra KSP decals, are either silver or gray. Some SRF members might be interested in this for 2019.
