I need to add an option to my (UK) order, which has now reached, according to the dealer, “Accepted by Production Control”. The dealer, nor anyone else I have been able to contact seems able to help with this. The "local" number (which sounds "European") isn't answered. Customer service really shouldn't be this inaccessible.

Welcome to our forum atdtemp1 and congrats on your C8 order. To my knowledge, once your order reaches "3000" Order Accepted by Production Control, you can not normally make any changes.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, that concurs with what I have been told - at least it means that I am close (June) to ending my days as a pedestrian (well, F-Type owner).

The dealership came up with the idea of wrapping the spoiler and mirrors, which on the face of it seems an excellent idea, being cheaper and offering a greater choice of finish. If it checks out OK, that's a decent solution.
