I was Extremely pleased with PLYCAR... (plycargroup.com).. POC Dave-631-973-3106 (direct line)
Had mine shipped from BG to Phoenix. Their tractor/trailers (of course all enclosed) are spotless..
Advertise as "Exotic and Fine Car transporters". Initially recommended to me by my dealer (Mike Furman
at Criswell Chevrolet)... All around I found them to be a 1st class, professional operation.

I bought my vert from a dealer in TX and called three of the national guys. Landed on Intercity transport. Think they are out of NE. Anyway, very professional great communication. Picked up Vette on a Saturday afternoon and had her delivered Tuesday in Miami. Very pleased.

Horseless Carriage is an enclosed transporter out of my neck of the woods, New Jersey. They have an excellent reputation and have been in business for well over 30 years. I bought my car from F. C. Kerbeck in Atlantic City, NJ, and they highly recommended them.

With that kind of distance, it's not going to be cheap regardless of how affordable of a carrier you find. I've had success with www.a1autotransport.com a few times in the past, but my understanding is that you should compare some quotes before making a decision. I ended up using A-1 because my preference was to work with a shipper that had offices in both locations so it would be easier to resolve any potential issues. Since they have offices in most major U.S. cities, it was an easy choice.
