This Friday, "Velocity Channel" (281 on DIRECTV), 7:00 PM (EST), 4:00 PM (PST) is the first episode of this new, "Corvette Centric" TV show. Bloomington Gold will be the topic of this week's episode, which includes the 2013 induction of Reeves Callaway and the iconic Sledgehammer Corvette into The Bloomington Gold Great Hall.

Have no idea as to its quality, nor we will be treated to C7 info, pictures and stories in subsequent episodes.

If others of you are able to find it at other times & places on other broadcast networks/systems, please post.

Unfortunately, we do not get the Velocity Channel on our Comcast Cable down here in Florida. They even just took our Speed Channel away and replaced it with Fox Sports!

Speed Channel has been eliminated and Fox Sports 1 & 2 replaces it! I sure miss Dave Despain's "Wind Tunnel" on Sunday evenings. I'm afraid Fox Sports is going to turn into a Soccer Channel. Velocity Chanel is becoming a great channel for auto related programing!.................available on DirecTV!

Comcast in Atlanta still has it as well as the 2 fox sports channels. It's channel 205 here.

Comcast down here just really pisses me off. We lose more good stuff, they add crap and then raise our rate for the new 'great' stuff they've added!

In Houston on DirecTV, the program "Return of the Sting Ray" airs at 6 PM, Friday and again on Saturday at 1 AM on channel 281

In Daytona, the show will air on Friday at 7pm and is entitled "Return of the Stingray." Show info says... "The debut of the 2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray; 2013 Bloomington Gold Corvettes eent in Champaign, Ill." Sounds like two topics?

I don't believe this.... I called Comcast to complain (I mean 'inquire') about not getting the Velocity Channel and she said "YOU HAVE IT". (Face turned red at this point!) It is Channel 412 Sarasota/ Venice Comcast Cable! I asked how long we have had it and she said "not very long". I guess I should be checking my channel listings weekly. They used to send us channel line-up updates in with our bill, but I guess that doesn't happen anymore with electronic billing.

Anyway.... Thanks again for the heads-up Elegant! We'll be watching!

Whelp, I PM'd you as well, but I dont think that Velocity is on Rogers. Here is the full list:

I looked on Discovery World to see if it was on there, and it is not in their lineup for the next few weeks. Perhaps it will air there later. Keep your eyes peeled!

LOVED IT!!!! Of course, any full half-hour show about Corvettes only would be awesome! I think they did a great job, not a lot of "fluff".
Even some of the commercials were all Corvette. (Kerbecks & Mid America of course)

Can't wait to see the entire series!

This is great.... a TV show all about all of our prize possessions. What a great America this is!!!
