Land vehicle Vehicle Sports Motorsport Race track

We have been watching videos coming from the Z06 Nurburgring testing all week, and wondering if they are trying to set some 'Ring Records with, what they are calling their "most track capable Corvette ever." It seems as though someone has found the limit of the Corvette on the infamous "Green Hell" that is the Nurburgring.

The photo above is the only evidence of the accident as of yet, so we don't have a lot of information on the crash, but you can imagine that the driver was doing a fair clip when the ends swapped on him.

Anyone have anymore information on this unfortunate crash?

It's still in testing. You want crashes to happen now, before the car actually goes on sale, so they can apply a solution to whatever caused the crash assuming it wasn't just human error.

I for one, am in allot of anticipation of the testing results at the Nurburgring and awaiting the results. Would also like to see more details on the crash. Every single time I watch the video, which I've lost count of now, gets me incredibly excited every single time. Heart palpitations and all.
