UPDATED 4 Apr: the online sign-up for the 50s/60s Sock Hop Dinner on Sat Night is now up and running at http://store.nexternal.com/wmbgstore...nner-p407.aspx. Sign up early as there are only 100 tickets available for this really fun event. Live band, good wine and a pig roast buffet, what more can you ask.

The Colonial Corvette Club and the Williamsburg Winery are proud to announce the 4th Annual Corvettes for the Vets Show will take place Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the Williamsburg Winery in Williamsburg, Virginia. Proceeds will benefit the USO of Hampton Roads and Central Virginia and VFW Post 4639.

Last year we had 114 Corvettes representing every generation (C1-C6). This year we will have the C7 joining us, to include my Torch Red C7 ;). There will be a Kick-Off Dinner/Social Gathering at the Winery on Saturday night for all those who arrive early. The show will take place unless there is really bad weather :(. In that case, the rain date will be Monday, 26 May 2014. Occasionally, there has been rain early in the morning, but it has always cleared up before the show. Below you will find the flyers for the show, as well as, the schedule of events. The lunch this year is being provided by Carrabba's Italian Grill of Williamsburg.

I'm hoping to see a lot of returning Corvettes and Corvette Clubs, as well as, all of you that haven't made it before :p. We have a really fun time and plenty of good food and camaraderie (even good wine!!:D). You can go here to see pictures from previous shows.

For all you Forum vendors, we are looking for sponsors for the show to supply items for the goody bags and raffles, to set up a table to sell or even install your wares or to sponsor a banner for your company. Anyone interested in setting up a dyno? If interested in being a sponsor, send me a PM and I'll get you the information. I hope a lot of you can step up and support this event.

Registration can be done online at http://store.nexternal.com/wmbgstore/car-show-registration-p351.aspx. Meal tickets can be purchased at http://store.nexternal.com/wmbgstore/corvettes-for-the-vets-c31.aspx

I have already made plans on attending. The Richmond Corvette Club is attending as well, which I'm planning on joining in a couple of weeks. I can't wait for this event.

Looking forward to seeing you.

Let's hope for better weather than what's going on this morning!
Weather should be good late May.

How do you sign up for the kick-off dinner?
The sign up for the Saturday Night Kick-Off Dinner should go online in a week or so. I have heard that it will be a 50s-60s Sock Hop theme with a buffet, but that is subject to change. I'll post the information as soon as it is finalized.
