Hi all. I live in CA and went to a local dealer. They had a Midnight Race Blue Coupe "coming in a week", but the sales rep would not give me the order number after my deposit. I called another rep to inquire about the same care, got the order number, then after "I" checked the car wasn't scheduled to be built for another month. Sleazy. Got my deposit back.
The story ends well. I just had the most amazing car purchase experience EVER with Terry Goodin and Coughlin Chevrolet in OH. Out of state. It was so easy.
I called, didn't realize it was after hours
but Terry picked up the phone. I inquired about the exact car I saw on Rick Conti's website. He call me about an hour later with the specs. I called his cell the next day, he was off but answered the phone anyway. Told him I wanted the car. That afternoon all paperwork was sent overnight to me. I completed it, returned the next day and now I just booked a flight to Columbus to pick her up an drive back to CA.
