They are! Bought it in Warwick, RI and they assured me they'd be open. Looks like I will be hangover free on the firstIs the dealer open on a Holiday? Congrats!
Yep didn't end up drinkin...haha... way too pumped to get the car!I'll drink to that!![]()
I got here on the first of this month. Had 4 miles on it and drove it 100 from RI to CT. It's now sitting in my garage. Had about a dozen thumbs up from random drivers and at least one person took of pic of me while driving. Didn't go over 4k rpm, but it certainly seems to have the "balls" to go. Can't wait for Spring.Did you get it?
Thanks. Are you still holding out for the 2015 model?Nice and again Congrats!
I am unless a dealer sells me one at invoice.Thanks. Are you still holding out for the 2015 model?
Fair enough... I'm content so far with what the car has to offer. I couldn't wait any longer, the empty spot in the bay was killin' me!I am unless a dealer sells me one at invoice.I'm waiting for several reasons, one to save up and pay cash if I can, two being a completely new model getting some of the bugs out, three price will come down from sticker more, and four usually more features are added the 2nd year. In this case we've seen the 8-speed auto, apps and camera. Maybe even new color.....
Oh didn't realize they had such a huge event. Out here in CT (by the airport), they have a Vette night and last year they had over 1k show up, on a Monday night!Trust me the wait is killing me! I would love to drive to Corvettes at Carlisle this year in one. Timing will be tough if I have to order one. Local dealer has like 150 sitting on their lot.
Looks like something I'm going to have to consider. The 'vette scene is all new to meIf you haven't been to Corvettes at Carlisle in Aug then you haven't lived. We are talking acres of Corvettes, Vendors and parts! Thousands of Corvettes and even GM is there with their engineers and cars. You can walk for 3 days and not see everything.
