Has anyone found a good fitting cup holder insert that fits our cars? My travel mugs are all too loose and flop around. I need to do something, because I use mine every day on my way to work. Any good ideas?

Can't help on your cup holder insert, but finally found mugs that do not (never) leak. Can go around a sharp corner, have them bounced around the carpet, doesn't matter, for they do not leak. Also, on a 90 degree day, if left in your car, they will still have ice floating in your cold drink 10 hours later, or coffee that is very hot hot five hours later. Only mugs that ever travel in our Corvettes.

Yes, too tall (re my comment about bouncing around the carpet). They are the perfect mug, but as noted above, we still need a means of keeping them in place and just not sure the factory shallow depth will work. We need a two part solution, the Contigo Autoseal mug and an aftermarket means of holding them in place -- though the latter will probably not involve the factory location.

Anyone?

Depends what you’re looking for but I made the one pictured because when I got my C7 in October the bottle tilted and spilled water. I glued the insert in (not as easy as it sounds) and put some felt pads on the bottle and the recess. Fits fine and does not spill in a “1g” stop or corner! Look for a PDF of what I did at: netwelding.com/reports_vette_info.htm

Elegant, I bought the Contigo at Walmart, 20 bucks. Well worth it. This thing rocks, and I love how cold it keeps stuff for so long, doesn't sweat with cold stuff and doesn't feel warm when full of coffee, and keeps it piping hot. You can turn it upside down and it doesn't spill a drop. Good call. My buddy dressed mine up! Little hard to see, but the graphic is a silhoette of a C7 convertible. Sorry for crappy pic, cheap cell phone not good with close ups. Material property Drink Caramel color

I use a neoprene can koozie on my Thermos Hydration Bottles. They fit perfectly in the cup holder.
I do the same thing - keeps my favorite insulated cup snugly in place.

After reading this topic I blended a couple of your ideas. I purchased the 16oz Contigo Auto seal from Target for $18 and used neoprene coffee cup wrap when using the Vette's cup holder. Works great. My only issue is they don't make the Contigo in Lime Rock Green to match the car! Gear shift Vehicle Center console Car Luxury vehicle
