I was parked on the far right in a parking lot so no one could park on my curbside, well , when I went to leave, while pulling out, some Yahoo, decided he wanted that spot and sped towards me, I turned left and caused a bit of curb rash on my front curbside wheel. After many expletives and an apology from said Yahoo. I went on my way, got home noticed the rash. Ordered Rim Ringz and the arrived today. Install wasnt very hard once you know which supplied tool to use. These seem to have done the trick.

Thanks Brett I was hoping they would do the trick! They have different colors as well, I thought about red, but happy I went with the "black ice".

Alan, you have to deflate the tire while jacked up. I put a little Dawn dishwashing soap in a spray bottle and sprayed along the edge of the rim then installation went smoother. The run flats sidewalls are not too forgiving!

Looks great, but I wish U guys would start providing LINKS to your finds. LOL.

They come in Black, Silver or Red Ordering them for my 14 Impala (Silver), 14 Stingray (Black), and my 15 Yukon (Silver)

Rim Rings $89 unless I find them cheaper

The reason we do not permit links to non-forum supporting vendors is that if we did there is no reason for a non-forum supporting vendor to become a supporting vendor. Without supporting vendors we would not be able to have this great forum. You can provide the name of the vendor in a post so that a member, if so inclined, can do a web search and find the vendor.

I hate curb rash. I'm glad I get to park my car in a Garage. Every car that parks on the street gets curb rash

Could you post a picture that shows how they look edge on? I'm curious how far beyond the rim they stick out.

That doesn't seem to be working for me.

Edit: Never mind, the next post works. Yes, that shows me what I wanted to see. Thanks.
