I happened to see a little note on Chevy's "Build Your Own Vehicle" website stating that the 1LT is the lightest of the Stingrays. Unfortunately, I cannot find any accurate data stating the different trim-level curb weights. I'm interested to know just how different they are on both the base and Z51 equipped 1LT, 2LT and 3LT trim levels.

The frustrating thing is, I work for GM and nobody can point me in the right direction to find this information. The manager I report to has a son who works at the Bowling Green plant, as does the Dana Frame representative here at our plant, and neither one knows. :(

Does anyone out there have this info?

Thanks in advance....

i don't have all of the data points at my fingertips, but IIRC, the weight diff between the Z51 1LT and Z51 2LT/3LT was something inconsequential like 38 pounds.

More curiosity than anything, but since GM claimed this it peaked my interest. I've always been a firm believer in power to weight ratio after learning about vehicles like the Lotus Super 7 (Caterham) and Ariel atom..
Also, I'm wanting to trade in my portly 2010 2SS/RS Camaro on a Z51 1LT.. And was curious what the difference is.. Seeing that the Camaro is nearly 4000 pounds.. :)

Three major car magazines test a 3LT with Z-51 and got within five pounds of 3,440 pounds; of course we do not know half a tank, full tank, etc.

Here's a GM chart that might be interesting, with C6 to C7 weight increase factors.
