SEMA finally opened their doors to the public this year with an event called SEMA Ignited. Basically when the SEMA show ends it is a tradition for all of the cars to leave the convention center in one gigantic procession known as the SEMA cruise. Previously this would have been the end of the show which is completely closed to the public except for seeing the cars as they left the convention center for the cruise. This year however the cars had the option to participate in the Ignited event about a mile and a half away from the convention center which was free and open to the public. Ignited took place behind the Linq hotel on the Strip in the parking lot behind the High Roller Wheel which is an astonishing thing to see in person. Overall it was a really fun time with a lot of awesome cars on display and even a live taping of Overhauling happening on a stage they set up in the parking lot.
Of course I was at the event with one purpose: to scope out C7's. I found several and though I can't say I'm a fan of these super customized cars, maybe some of you will appreciate these.
