WELL, I suppose you could consider it a Corvette win but the DP's have nothing Corvette in them aside from badging. It's marketing for the Chevy engine.

No, and neither is the engine in the C7.R but that's normal, none of the motors in any of the GTLM cars are the production motors though they do follow a similar architecture. For instance, the 5.5L Chevy race motor is a pushrod V8, the Porsche is a flat 6, etc.
