I get GM Plan 1 through family (ie get cars at dealer cost for employees), but C7 isn't available at Plan 1 yet. Probably will be some time down the road, but I wasn't going to wait. You'd be VERY lucky to get it under MSRP at this point.

And add on approx $1000 for advertising on the invoice. Here are the actual figures off my invoice.

MSRP $54,990.00
Destination $995.00
Total $55985.00

Inv Amt $50005.20
Destination $995.00
Dealer IMR Contribution $549.90
LMA Group Contribution $500.00
Total $52050.10

H/B - $1649.70

I was very surprised at how little room GM has left the Dealers

Actually, there's quite a bit there, $6635 to be exact. The advertising goes into a coop so that money does come back indirectly as it's money they don't have to spend. Even if you take that out it's still 10% which is pretty normal.

I too quality for supplier pricing, which is about 1% higher than employee. After talking to a few in the know we expect GMS pricing (the bucket they use for these programs) to open up the first of the year. I don't know if I can wait and even then the dealer has to agree, they aren't obligated to accept it.
