When my dealer ordered my Z, he said pricing was not available in their system yet, so he couldn't give me a "bottom line" price. They gave me a sheet that said ordered vehicle would be sold at MSRP, plus tax, tag and fees.

The "fees" part scares me just a bit. I know most dealers have processing fees that range from $400-900. But, could they also call market adjustment a "fee"?

Don't think they would try that, but it would be nice to get my deal with final price, including everything, in writing...

It would be unusual for them to roll any 'market adjustment' into their fees section. Normally that is some fluff covering documentation etc. They should be able to tell you exactly what their fees will be independent of the Z06 pricing.

Ditto for my order. Have everything but the price and yet everyone seems to have the prices except the GM Order "Workbench" My dealer has assured me that MSRP will be honored, so if GM does not change then we should be OK.

Just saw this post. You should simply ask the dealer, on the order sheet, to specify what the fees are and what they are for. In Illinois dealers charge a documentation fee that is limited by law--this year is it about $166. License, title and tax costs are all set by the state.--Bob

Thanks everyone! Got everything in writing last week. Beyond the MSRP and sales tax, there was $305 in total fees, which were listed as "registration, inspection, TX road and bridge, title". Thinking it's very reasonable. I'm happy!
