My Corvette is ready for shipping...Anyone know how long it takes to get scheduled from Intercity?
New Hampshire to Syracuse? The form says 2 weeks...that's too long to go without sleep!

Thanks,
Dave:cool:

All of the major carriers will give you a 2 week pickup window. Once it's on the truck it should only be 2 or 3 days depending on other drop offs and pick ups.

It's a 320 mile trip, I would be driving it home, not shipping it but each to their own.

I don't know the answer. However I would get in my daily driver (or rent one) go to New Hampshire, help upload it and follow it home to make sure it didn't get on a bumpy road and help download it.--my attempt at humor. cutnout aka Charlie

From Syracuse, you could take a train or even a bus to the Boston area, and from Boston North Station to Lowell MA by MBTA train is about 45 minutes. I am sure MacMulkin would send someone to pick you up at Lowell Station, or you could take a taxi.

Dave, if possible go to the dealership and pick it up like mentioned before. MacMulkin will send somebody to pick you up, train station, airport, etc. If not possible, there is no set exact date when they will pick up your C7. When my C7 was hauled by Intercity, it had three other vehicles to deliver, Ga, Fl, and Texas. I had no problem with Intercity, it was a smooth transaction. Post those pictures when you get your C7 masterpiece, good luck.

Wish I could go there, but my job requires me to be on 24/7 call until next thursday...can't really leave the area....not too crazy about driving the new vehicle on the NYS thruway anyway and getting stone chips....so I'll have to wait a week or so.
It will have just 2 miles on it...so to me it's worth it...plus I get to have fun with my nosey neighbors!!!
I'll post unloading pictures.

Dave

I'll need to change my screen name as I sold the Prowler at the Syracuse Nationals in just 2 hours.

Congrats on selling your car so fast. Send me a PM and with your first and second choice for a new forum name, and we will get it accomplished.

Dave, When the rig from Intercity pulled up in front of my house it was a nice sunny Sunday. Of course I double timed out of my house to get to the rear of the trailer, (my C7 masterpiece has arrived). I was taking pictures, my wife was recording on the video, and all my neighbors were out on the front porches staring like somebody's house was on fire. I will never forget the day as long as I live, after busting my "six" for years my new Corvette was here!!! Enjoy your moment because it doesn't end there, I still have a big grin on my mug whenever I pull out of our driveway.

For texas, mine was built friday the 10th, sat at bowling green up until Friday afternoon (17th), two day drive by truck to a trucking company near the GM plant in arlington TX. And will probably head to the dealer tomorrow or monday (25 minute drive tops) -- I actually thought it was going to the dealer and my dad and I headed out to go look at them unload it when it went south instead of north on 360 away from the dealership. Trucking company was nice though. (see photos)

Thought you would enjoy the drive. Hope you got to travel on some 2 lane roads, and not just I-90.
