Mikeyt03,
I have taken my 16 Z06 Vert to my local dealer and was informed they have excellent mechanics with all types of certification and none are Corvette Specialists. I had the oil change at 500 for the break in and it was changed by a young man that does oil changes but, a lot of his friends all work on corvettes. I had a stroke when i found out he was the guy that did the oil change. I am searching for a dealer with a Corvette Specislist to work on any repairs or service needed. The late Sid Harchelroad told me at the Ron Fellowes School only a Corvette certified mechanic needed to do all work to the car. I am disappointed that my dealer does not have a Specialist as many Corvettes as they sell. I was considering ordering a ZR1 (provided they can get the trade difference acceptable) but, i don't want to drive 50 or more miles to have a Corvette mechanic work on my car and not get a loaner to go home and return when the car is done. Just thought i would throw that out to let everyone know.
That sucks...from what I understand they have to have corvette specialists to sell and service corvettes. Maybe they all quit lol

One of the benefits of buying from the 4th largest (last I checked) Corvette dealer in the country. That would be Forum dealer Criswell Chevy. They service lots of Corvettes, and know how to change the oil in them. Got my 4 free changes, Mobil 1 with no hassles or extra effort, and the right amount of oil each time.
