Easy Supercharger Oil Change

I didn't know what to expect when I had to change my supercharger oil but my installer recommended an excellent YouTube video by Vortech. Now changing the oil in my supercharger is a little 15 minute job. The drain tube is tucked up in the frame. Pull it out, unscrew the plug and because there is only 6 oz. of oil, it drains in a few minutes. Use an allen wrench to remove the dipstick, pour in the oil, replace dipstick and you're done.

The bottle says after the first 2500 miles and then every 7500 but my installer told me after the first 1000 and then every 6000.

It is. It has a distinctive aroma (stinky).

First time I changed mine I thought I broke the drain when the non bolt end spun freely. Quickly realized it was meant to do that but a moment of raised blood pressure.

Mine is a Paxton. Uses the same oil but it is four ounces not six.

Matt you are correct. It's only four oz.
