Has anyone fitted an edlebrock supercharger to their Stingray yet??

I had one installed a month ago. I have driven around 800 miles since the installation and I really like it. I have had no problems and the gas mileage has not changed under normal driving. Mine was installed by the corvette dealer I bought the car from. It took them around 17 hrs to install. I have an automatic transmission and I am very impressed by the difference in performance.
Car is a 3LT, Z51 with Exhaust and Suspension options.

Will be interesting to see what happens with this mod. Transmission has not been upgraded which ZO6 has. No additional cooling which ZO6 will have. Warranty issues? The ZO6 option is about another $17,000 give or take. So how much does the Edelbrock kit with labor come to?

I agree, I have some concerns about the trany. I have encountered no heating issues and have driven the car on 90+ outside temps. The dealer that installed it explained to me how my GM warranty would work. Also Edelbrock has a supplemental warranty which pays specific amounts on the engine and drivetrain components. The warranty has different levels of coverage. Cost is $750 -$1150 depending on what coverage you want. 50k & 5yr. I was in contact with Edelbrock today getting mine completed. Installation and dyno cost was a little under $10500.

Hi grayc7 I had one installed 7/22/14 and didn't clear hood liner.Been waiting over 2 months to fix.As for warranty was told that they can't offer warranty at this time because insurance vender went out of business.Still waiting.. good luck

Yes, the main after market insurance company that sold warranties for modified cars did go under, and all are out in the cold that bought from them....years of owners.

You are correct that there is no warranty offered at the present time. Dave at Edelbrock told me they are in the final stages of getting coverage set up. He is maintaining information on systems that have been installed so he can contact those people when coverage is available. Costs and coverage was information he gave me. Sorry if I misled anyone on this issue.

I lost my money in that F...info driveline warranty. They closed up about a week after cashing my check.
