If 460 horsepower from the factory isn’t enough to satisfy your need for speed from your 2014 Stingray, then you might want to check with the good folks at Edelbrock.

Edelbrock has just revealed an all-new E-Force Supercharger kit that won’t break the bank but will deliver numbers on par with the upcoming 2015 Corvette Z06. The company says its supercharger will produce 624 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque.

If you’re worried about the way your Stingray might look after such a transformation, Edelbrock says its new supercharger fits under the stock hood with no modifications, “allowing you to retain the factory look of this highly engineered masterpiece.”

Edelbrock promises the installation will be a hassle-free bolt-on job that won’t sacrifice runner length or the intercooler area.

The supercharger also is designed, cast, and made in the United States for those patriotic Stingray owners out there and furthermore meets the carbon emissions standards of all 50 states.

No price has been released on either the upcoming Z06 or the Edelbrock E-Force, but estimates are that the Z06 could go in the neighborhood of $100k or more when buyers get through checking the option boxes. The website Auto Evolution believes the Edelbrock supercharger might be less than $7,899 – not bad for a car that nearly matches the 625 horsepower and 635 lb-ft of torque of the Z06 at a fraction of the cost.

By the way, Edelbrock, a well-respected specialty aftermarket performance parts manufacturer based in California, says it’s using the same quality Eaton TVS Rotor assembly that GM used on the C6 ZR1.

If you want to save some bucks, this system sounds like it might be the way for power-hungry, but thrifty, Stingray owners to go.

Edelbrock says the new supercharger will be offered in three performance levels:

Stage 1 – Street Systems – emissions legal to provide the best combo for your daily driver.

Stage 2 – Track Systems – Includes the addition of a competition air intake kit, smaller pulley, injectors (if required), and a custom tune optimized for these upgrades. It’ll be for competition racing only and is available complete or as an upgrade.

Stage 3 – Professional Tuner Systems – Include all the essential parts that a racer or tuner would need to build a custom supercharged racing setup. It’s for competition racing use only.

thanks for the info rabelvette. so, just to clarify, gm can provide a warranty if they install a supercharger? i am very much leaning towards a procharger and would definitely prefer the warranty...thanks
No, GM will not install a supercharger nor will they warranty ANY car with aftermarket forced induction. Only companies like Lingenfelter and Calloway offer warranties underwritten by external service providers they have agreements with. No one doing a ProCharger offers a warranty that's worth the paper it's written on to my knowledge.
Hi mjw930 I know for sure chevy dealer will install superchargers.Jud Kuhn Chevrolet installs tnem in Little River SC and warrenty them. Have a good day

But it's not a GM warranty and will not be honored anywhere but at that dealership unless it's underwritten by an aftermarket re-insurer or the dealer will accept any pay out on a claim from another dealer. Prove me wrong and attach a copy of the warranty issued from them on an install.

This is great info since I was planning to install a super charger
any other modifications or is it a bolt-on? ....and how much boost?

I'd be nervous adding much boost to an 11.5:1 motor.
i just added a edelbrock stage II kit to my 2014 Corvette and its awesome. i have no hood clearance issues and it dynoed on a mustang dyno at 516 HP to the wheels on a very very hot day in miami. I just put it in yesterday and i love it. it has so much power that it breaks the tires when i step on at 30 mph.

Welcome to our forum Taz2767. I encourage you to not post the identical post as you did here on two different threads of our forum. It tends to lead to confusion when a member is interested in responding, responds on the one thread and then sees the other thread and wonders what happened to their post not realizing that the initial post was identical on both threads. Thanks!
I'm Having a supercharger install on my 2015 conv. at the end of this month. not going to put headers on at this time, might later it's listed on AA Corvette web site. I hope the unit rforms as they say it will post result after dyno and some track time.
Stage 2 being installed on my 2015 Z51 as we speak. I should have it back in a few days. I went with the E-Force because of the warranty. Not looking for crazy power but I know it will be much faster. I will post up my thoughts after a few days of driving.

Who installed and could you give a price range. I live in PA and need to find an installer.
Straightline performance in Joliet Illinois. Parts and install under $9000.00. 2 day install. Very stealth unit. Smooth and quiet. I went with this unit for the included power train warranty. Just over 560 rwhp.

Thank you. Sounds great. I have to look in my area for a reliable installer. Good luck.
Hey Guys, I know this is an old thread. But if you are still avail. give us an update on Edelbrock install and performance.
Almost 1 year later and I still love it. Great performance and no issues. Went from 12.5 to 11.84 1/4 mile time. Best thing I gave done to the car. Definitely recommend one.

How do you keep the rear tires from spinning out? I test drove a 2016 Z06 A8 several weeks ago and those wider tires could not get a good bite, the power is just unbelievable.
