I just tried to see what my time would be 0-60 in my new stingray. I have the bi-mode exhaust and had it set in track mode. It's an auto and I wasn't using the paddles. When I started and it shifted from 1st to 2nd I heard what sounded like a back-fire out of the exhaust. I'm thinking that maybe this could've been the exhaust and not engine backfire I hope. Anybody else had this experience? It did 0-60 in 4.5 sec.

Use the search feature and you will find this topic has been discussed including the more technical responses. But the bottom line it that it is normal and was designed to do that. How was your 0-60 time?

I think this only if you have NPP, my neighbor has a standard coupe no npp and his does not do it.

0-60? You would be lucky to get into 3rd gear. Do it by paddle next time and you will not get to 3rd gear as you can maximize the Rev to Torque and shift at peak moments in the tranny. Don't drive it like granny!!! Be a man!! hahaha!! LOL !! Just funnin..................
