Went to 3400 yesterday March 23 for production. How long to build and ready for shipment?? Gotta line things up.
Thanks.

I think it varies. But, mine went to 3400 last week with a 3/16 TPW. Got a call from my dealer this morning that it was "in transit", and that he should have it by the end of the week. Hope he's right. And, if so, you're probably only a week or so behind me.

Hi:

All the builds can differ from each other, but a good guess would be two to three weeks unless they have an issue or it gets pulled for extra quality checks after production. Yours could quite easily be trucked, cutting back on the shipping time. But as I said before this is just a guess and with the General nothing is a given.

Happy motoring and I hope you get her soon and as you ordered.

JWalker, have you received your Corvette yet? Mine went to 3400 today and I am also curious about the timeline until delivery. My dealer told me that even though a car is produced it may sit at the factory for a while until they have a full load to ship via tractor/trailer. I am hoping since it is coming to a major city there will not be a long delay
as I know of at least one other car being produced the same week coming this way. Any info will be appreciated.

RC,

My car was built on Monday, March 23rd, and it is still sitting at Bowling Green awaiting to be assigned a carrier for transport. Carriers are assigned by regions, and they continue to stack up cars for a given region until they have enough to fill the truck. This can happen quickly or this can take a while, depending on the region that the cars are destined for. This assignment process helps to ensure carriers leave Bowling Green with a full load.

Unfortunately, Chevrolet has just adopted a policy where they will no longer provide event codes directly to buyers. All they will tell you is, "Yeah, the car is still here" or "Yeah, your car has shipped." Other than that, Chevrolet's customer service continues to degrade.

If you want to know the actual event codes to track your car throughout the entire build / shipping process, your only option is to contact your dealer directly and request it.

Well, April 7th, car has been finished at least week ago and still hasn't made it to Kerbeck dealer yet. I emailed my salesman this am and told him to find out where it is and when he will get it!! I still have to get money to them and then line up Exotic transport which will most likely hold me up because they have to get enough on their truck to head to Mississippi for my stop as they are on route to Texas. HURRY UP AND WAIT IS ALL WE HAVE DONE.

Congrats!

Your dealer has quite a few Vettes there, including at least 5 Z06s. The 2 SG Z06s next to your car don't have a sold tags on the wiper blades. Wonder how many of those cars are sold orders versus inventory?

My old dealer in Clearwater FL used to stock up on Vettes in March, April & May. They sold a ton of them, most at large discounts. Worked for me!
