Working with a company to come up with a clean design for the C7...comments? no prob for anyone if you don't like it, working on paint schemes now, the openings are true working brake ducts for z51, partially blocked for non z51. Any color avail to match body as these strips around ducts show. All billet alum and stainless.

No specific input yet. Might think about how a front plate would mount though. FWIW, you're on the right track with your design idea.

Yeah I love the way it looks just wondering what it will look like with a front plate or if you can even mount front plate

It certainly is a DJ, but they are not a supporting vendor so I did not mention. They are more than willing to logo delete and matte black insides of ducts and block for non z51. That was the point.

The front plate I think would be kinda messy, I doubt it would work well for those states....

Looks very good though the duct ports are all the rage now and I'm thinking something different than the norm might be more daring. Not a slam, just thinking out loud.

Doing some photoshop of paint fades inside ducts for diff look....I think the ducting has got some legs in it before it looks dated, due to the other vents on the C7.

This is their other "clean" design- the "Urban"-outside stripe edge can be brushed or any body color

Since we all say the stock grill center piece looks like it has braces my wife said the first grill looks like it has a retainer with the 2 rubber bands on the side LOL. She likes the second one too but I can see the lure of both and both are a step up over stock.

Yup.....That's why I'll take the ducts striped as that takes a steady hand. And then black out the striping if need be, and go all matte. But I like the ducts......

Once again, cyber gray body color allows you to do a few things the brighter colors can't do, I think striping the duct openings with the light body colors starts to look too boy racer and ostentatious....IMO
