So now that many forum members have been getting their C7's, what are some crazier things you've seen people do?

I have had people take pics, videos non stop. When I park, and come out of store there are always small number of people around the car. On the road people are trying to race me, giving me thumbs up. Today we were having lunch and I saw a pickup truck drive slowly by the car with 4 passengers, each of them had a camera out, it did a U-turn so occupants on other side could take pics/videos. It's quite funny. Loving every minute of it.

Hey ScottsdaleDave - Funny Thread, as I committed to now taking photos of those taking photos. Here is one as I was backing out of my driveway... neighborhood boys were walking by, all of whom ran to the front of my car and started taking pictures. I had phone in hand and snapped one of them. Notice my "HUD"!!! I didn't even realize you could see the heads up display until I just posted here... lol

Every where I go I get people taking video and pics as we'll.
My girlfriend snaps photos of others too. Lol
People are so curious. The car really grabs people's attention. Stops them dead in there tracks. The looks on there faces are like WTF? Lol
GM did good.

Last night went to a restaurant.. walked out after dinner and my car was surrounded by 20 people peeking in the windows and taking pictures. I dont mind I didn't have the opportunity to see one live in person until I picked mine up from the dealer!

I have never witnessed so much attention paid to a vehicle, at least not one I've owned. My previous C6 Z06 was a head turner, but C7's generate looks from the most unlikely people, i.e. not your typical "car person." On my maiden drive home (purchased mine about 100 miles from my home), I stopped for a break at a convenience store and when I came out there was a crowd of about 10 people around the car, young and old. I am a Corvette enthusiast for the performance and design aspect--this is amazing engineering. I am not really one for the attention generating aspect, but for the time being that is part of it. Whenever yours arrives, be prepared for a lot of pointing, picture taking, and vehicles chasing and pacing beside you. I live in a small town and very soon (hopefully) it will just be another car around here and that will be good--I can go back to being a guy enjoying the performance of his car, and not the guy in that car!

I cracked up when I saw this topic because everything you guys are experiencing, I'm experiencing. It's insane. The only thing that annoys me is the people who tailgate to get a better picture. Other than that, it's been fun to see the reactions from different people and ALL age groups. Also, I'd like to say hello to everyone :)

I finally got my black on black 3LT yesterday! Didn't get to drive it much but loved all the stares and cell phone pics. A Camaro and a pickup tried to race me at a light. Smoked them both.
When I got home, my neighbor who has never talked to me immediately walked over and introduced himself. His son started taking pics.

Geez Dave, just how much luggage were you planning on bringing? Anyway, all we want is your money ;);) here in Vegas! You can easily get a couple of carry on bags in the trunk. More than enough to get from Phoenix to Vegas. Drop me a PM if you do come this way.
