What’s new about the 2015 Corvette Z06?
The 2015 Corvette Z06 is the most track-capable Corvette ever. It’s a world-class supercar with a
combination of design, technology and performance that rivals most exotic performance cars. It
has been co-developed alongside the new Corvette C7.R racecar.
What makes the 2015 Corvette Z06 so capable?
The design of the Z06 is focused on functional changes to meet performance goals. The front
fenders are 2 inches wider, while the rear fenders are more than 3 inches wider to enable larger
wheels and tires required for increased braking and cornering grip. Z06 also features larger
cooling ducts for improved track performance, including a unique grille opening and hood vent,
larger front-quarter panel vents, unique air blades over the inlets on the rear fenders, which force
about 50 percent more air through the transmission and differential coolers. In addition, Z06
offers an available Z07 Performance Package that helps it deliver the most aerodynamic
downforce of any production car General Motors has ever tested.
What powers the 2015 Corvette Z06?
The Z06 will feature an all-new, compact LT4 6.2L supercharged V8 that will deliver a GMestimated
625+ horsepower and 635+ lb.-ft. of torque. In addition to a next-generation
supercharger, the LT4 will feature Direct Injection, Active Fuel Management and Variable Valve
Timing.
What transmission will be available on the 2015 Corvette Z06?
The Z06 will be one of the few supercars to offer 2 transmission choices. A 7-speed manual
transmission with Active Rev Matching will be standard while an all-new 8-speed automatic
with paddle shifting tuned for world-class shift times, optimizes the output of the supercharged
engine for exhilarating performance and greater efficiency.
What other technologies will be available on the 2015 Corvette Z06?
The Z06 will leverage the technologies that were introduced on the Corvette Stingray, including
extensive use of lightweight materials, a carbon-fiber hood and roof panel, and an all-aluminum
frame. Numerous driver-focused technologies such as standard Magnetic Selective Ride Control,
Driver Mode Selector, Active Rev Matching, Performance Traction Management and Electronic
Limited Slip Differential will help make the performance of the Z06 accessible to more drivers.
What is the Performance Data Recorder? Will it be available on the 2015 Corvette Z06?
The Performance Data Recorder (PDR) is the industry’s first onboard video and GPS-based
telemetry recorder. The system was developed with Cosworth Engineering, the same company
that supplies telemetry support to Corvette Racing. It allows drivers to record and share their
driving experiences on and off the track. Data can be uploaded to “Cosworth Toolbox” telemetry
software, which allows for a more detailed analysis of each lap and helps drivers hone their skills
and improve their lap times. PDR will be available on all 2015 Corvette models.
When will the 2015 Corvette Z06 be available?
2015 Corvette Z06 models are expected to arrive in early Q1 of 2015.
How much will the 2015 Corvette Z06 cost?

performance comparable to the Corvette ZR1, at
approximately the same price range as the
previous-generation Corvette Z06.
