Mine progressed, then regressed often. Hang in there! It could be due to constraints. Did you make any changes? May pop back to 3300 tomorrow. My dealership received their first seven C7s today. Really beautiful. At the same time, I was told that my order regressed from 3300 to 3000. Any information or insight is appreciated.
Thanks for the encouragement. Although the carbon fiber roof constraint was not supposed to affect orders in 3000 series codes, I'm thinking it suddenly is. Very frustrating, considering the forecasted timeframe for this constraint.Mine progressed, then regressed often. Hang in there! It could be due to constraints. Did you make any changes? Many thanks. Although I was at 3300 for weeks, I never received a TPW. That seemed unusual to my all contacts so I had an inkling that something was amiss. Lacking any specific reason, I was guessing it may be roof, though I did read the GM comments to the contrary. Hope your buddy's unit moves forward soon. Seeing them come off the truck today and getting a peek inside was a treat. 10 minutes later...the bad news. Yech.Understand Georgio51 that that change to 3000 status was/is a real disappointment! I have a friend who experienced/is experiencing the exact same thing right now, and he too is very disappointed. At the same time, as verified by John Fitzpatrick, GM Marketing Manager last Friday, cars that are at 3000 have all their parts allocated and put aside, as quoted: “Anything that’s in the system right now at event 3000 or above, we will build it without having them (dealers) make a change." You car will move forward with its exposed CF roof.
My friend's car now has an October 14th TPW; hopefully this Thursday, your and his and many others will move forward again!!!
Misery loves company... lol. Did you get recent email without soliciting the information? If so, that's great. I've got to ask the dealer on bended knee and I really dislike begging for updates.I think I'm in the same boat as I too keep receiving conflicting info. I was originally told by customer support chat my vehicle scheduled for production Sept 30th. After the site went down, I sent them an email requesting confirmation. They replied stating the order was received but not scheduled. finally yesterday I received another email stating my vehicle was now scheduled however they didn't give a date. Why all the damn drama?
I was lucky enough to have the contact info for a customer service rep. After receiving the "automated" email, I contacted her. She told me to contact her again early next week for an update. Not sure I can wait that long.Misery loves company... lol. Did you get recent email without soliciting the information? If so, that's great. Great news, Chuck. Yes, I have used the faq and will continue to check...weekly, I guess. Thanks. The best site to verify the status of you Stingray,is the [email protected] .com. I e-mailed them on Monday because the last update I had before the tracking system went down was queued for production. I tried using my dealer but that was no help. Yesterday I received an answer from the faq website and they told me as of yesterday my car had been produced, with VIN number1349,had been through all of the inspections and was waiting for shipment. I also had a chat with corporate and they told me same thing.Just keep the faith
