I am soon to order my C8 but undecided on the front end lift feature.
Any suggestions as to the value of it and does it take away from the handling performance of the car?
How much weight does it add to the car?

Welcome to our forum C8Dave. I am sure other members will chime in, but a key determination on the 'value' is whether you have approaches to driveways, speedbumps, etc. that be much easier to traverse if you have the lift feature.

I can’t answer the weight question. I notice no performance issues. It lowers once you reach 24 mph.

However, I’ve owned five other Vettes in my lifetime. This is one of the top if not the top option ever offered in my opinion.

Why they didn't do it sooner, along w/front camera!!!!

In my opinion, if you plan to order a car with a front splitter or add one aftermarket/Accessory I would opt for the front lift. My C8 has a very aggressive front Splitter and I have not scraped yet with front lift. Before I put the splitter on I felt like I did not need it.

YES, I would have not bought a Corvette if it didn’t have the front lift option, Camera, and new body design which was the biggest seller for me to get a C8.
But you need a LT2 or a LT3 to get these options.
My first drive I couldn’t remember where the front lift button before a dip turning down a street, of course it scraped.
One plus the system will store about 1000 locations of memory, which does work quite well.👍

I use it all the time. Makes speed bumps and curbs much less stressful.
