Hello All!

I've been saving up for a new car for a couple years now, and found out last year that the Stingray Corvette was that car. I'll finally be financially ready to pull the trigger by the end of April (damned price increase...) and am looking for some guidance.
The Navy currently has me stationed in Meridian, MS and, unsurprisingly, the local dealer does not supply C7's.

I'm hoping to find a major dealership within 250 miles, but all of the big names I've seen here on the forums are well outside that. Did I miss someone??
My other option would be an online vendor who can deliver to a reputable dealership, still within 250 miles. Closer is better, but faster is best!
I could easily grab my cell phone and shotgun Google maps, but I figured you guys would have some more relevant recommendations.

I'll be ordering:
Z51 1LT Coupe
Laguna Blue
Magnetic Ride Control
Performance Exhaust
Navigation Package
MSRP - $62,775

Many thanks!

Ross Downing in Hammond is the largest dealer in our area.
I ordered from Mossy in Picayune. So far so good. Ordered 2/20, TPW is 3/31.
The Banner in Slidell had 4 on the lot 2 weeks ago. Don't know current status. IIRC, one was Laguna Blue. I know there was a green, a black, and a red.
Good luck.

Les Stanford in MI. Me Dennis tap is great! 2/3 of his customers are out of state, he's very knowledgable and can answer all your questions.

If you want it fast and a great deal, contact MacMulkin our supporting vendor. You want a Z51 and there are few dealerships that can guarantee you will have your car before the 2015 model year run begins. Do the local dealer delivery or fly up and drive it home. MacMulkin has been getting the cars in 8 -10 weeks or less.

McMulkin is our sponsoring dealership and they are great to work with. They will not charge you ANY doc fees or other hidden fees, a $750 savings right there.

Gordon, welcome aboard. Look up the vendors section on the forum, and you will read where MacMulkin Chevrolet will treat you right. I had an outstanding experience with that dealership working with Tommy Thompson Jr., and I purchased my C7 over the phone. Also check out Navy Federal Credit Union. I got 1.99% on my auto loan.

Thanks all for the input! Knew I came to the right place.

I've got a few local nuggets to check out from PM's, but it's sounding like McMulkin is widely accepted as not only the fastest but also the easiest to work with. Mr. Thompson may have found himself another customer.

Hope to see you in the 2000 club in a few weeks! :D

And with no ($0) documentation feel, you are saving up to $775 compared to dealers with "same price."
No "hope to" with Tommy, for with his 1,000 allocations, he will get you to 2000 status within two weeks of your getting your deposit in to him.

EDIT: There are some rare weeks when GM, due to their having so many orders already in, when they do not accept new orders -- even for those dealers that have tons of allocations left, and so progress from 1100 status is non-existent during those that week(s).
