As most folks know the glove box will only work if the key fob is in place and if in valet mode you can not access it. In the future I can forsee someone having an issue accessing the glove box due it something not working. While in the midst of my tear down I found this handy lil thing.

If you open the passenger door and look at the flat panel there is a small cover. Remove the cover and use a long screw driver and push in and it will release the hing holding the glove box.

Lets remember - this is not a safe. If anyone wants to get in, they will. So we all need to be smart and use common sense what we leave in our vehicles.
