Can you tell me how the Velocity Yellow looked in person :) So I'm assuming Keithzello and MikeWag that your vehicles are currently being produced, as you're able to view photos on the order tracking site? I received my VIN# last week, but no TPW yet.

Just after posting this, I also checked my tracker and stock pics were there... although I ordered an automatic and it showed a standard stock pic. The exterior picture side said "coming soon". Went back this morning to check and the pics were gone. lol. They keep teasing me and I don't like it! :D

Just left Bowling Green and spent the day around the Corvette Plant and Museum. Pulled up to the back of the Plant and talked with the very nice security guard, but... of course... he wouldn't let me in. LOL Actually, I didn't even ask to go in, he just volunteered to me he couldn't let me in. I was able to see through the fence and driving around the Plant approximately 500 C7s on the lot waiting to be bayed/invoiced/shipped. I know mine was there. In person, it looked like there were more black, white and red colors than anything. I did see several yellows. They have a red C7 on display at the Museum where you can look in to/walk around the vehicle at a very close proximity (within a food). IT'S BEAUTIFUL! I'll post some pics of my visit yesterday (9/2/13).

I think you're talking about this that happen at the NCM:

"The 2 C7 Corvette Stingrays that were unveiled are Laguna Blue 3LT Brownstone Corvette Coupes, and the new Corvette Stingray Premier Edition will be specially numbered and limited to only 500.

These 500 “Premier Editions” will all be built with the same colors, options and accessories.

The Laguna Blue Coupes come with the 3LT Brownstone interior and have the new 19/20″ Torque Chrome Wheels, Z51 Package, 7-Speed Manual transmission, Magnetic Selective Ride Control, Performance Exhaust system and the exposed carbon fiber targa top. Other accessories will include Stingray center caps and sill plates, a unique cargo shade, and custom Stingray floor mats. The interior features suede leather and carbon fiber as well as a numbered, limited edition dash plaque.

The package also includes a special, limited edition, matched luggage set with the C7 Corvette logo. The luggage generated a lot of oohs and awes when they were pulled from the trunk of one of the new C7 Stingrays.

The Corvette Stingray Premier Editions shown at the NCM were numbers 001 and 002 of the limited edition of 500. During the presentation, we learned that all but one of the Corvettes will come with the manual transmission while the Premiere Edition will be the ONLY 1 of the 500, equipped with an automatic transmission.

The C7 Corvette Stingray Premiere Editions will only be available in the United States, Canada and Mexico, but they won’t appear in the order guide and you can’t order one. They will be built and sent to the top selling Corvette dealers who will decide how and when they will be sold."

So from the picture it would be impossible to see or tell if any of these cars are one of the 500 limited editions.

My C7 "shipped/en route" with 4000 status!!!! WooHoo!!! I spoke with my "assigned customer service gal, Stacie" yesterday. She confirmed my vehicle had just come out of quality control and was about to be loaded to head to it's new mommy!!! lol

The Order Tracking site says, "Your new Chevrolet is on its way to the dealership. Depending on your location, your vehicle ship time will vary. While en route, you may want to search the accessories area by clicking on the lower right to make some final touches to your new vehicle. Check back soon to see when your vehicle has arrived so you can pick it up at your dealer of purchase."

It was confirmed yesterday when your C7 is produced, goes through quality control/inspections and becomes "bayed", GM will change your status in the "Order Tracker" to "shipped/en route" even though your vehicle may actually be en route/shipped. When your status goes to "shipped/en route" from "produced", just know it may be waiting to ship but READY :)
