This ^^^ I was thinking the same thing.I don't know if this pertains to a Stingray or it was listed as changes to the ZO6 to address track preparedness. It would be nice for those that can't afford the ZO6 but want to use their Stingray on the track and not have to worry about break downs from overheating issues. The only down side is that by the time the options are priced out you are not going to be that far off from a ZO6 and it would have the wide body as well as other features including POWER.
Its a smart move by GM.. and something they should do on all their cars to take some business back from the aftermarket. As for me.. I love my Stingray the way it is, and if I'm gonna upgrade using even half of those parts.. I may as well spring for the Z06 with the WB and Supercharger
