Got rid of the Corvette last night

Well, I debated long and hard for quite some time about this, but finally got rid of the Corvette tonight. Honestly, I should have done it sooner. And to top it off, it wasn't that hard to do either. I'm really happy!

Here's the process I used...

1. Sprayed 3M adhesive remover along and over the script.

2. Let the 3M adhesive removed sit for about 5 minutes.

3. Sprayed 3M adhesive remover along and over the script again.

4. Took dental floss and ran it between the script and the body in a back and forth sawing motion. The dental floss cut right through the softened adhesive.

5. Removed all of the script, then removed all of the black part of the backing from the car with my finger. The only thing that remained was some of the clear adhesive.

6. Sprayed the 3M adhesive remover on the remaining adhesive and wiped the adhesive off the car. It took doing this step three times to remove all of the adhesive.

The entire process took no more than 15 minutes.

Well that was an interesting way to start a thread as I was wondering why would anyone get rid of their Corvette? Were they crazy!

Nice clean look.
