I got my first webpage on a server at the University of Kentucky back when I was a student there from 1993 to 1997. After moving to Ohio State for my Ph.D., I migrated it to one of the OSU servers. Although it is no longer posted online anywhere, it is in my backup archives and it was rather easy for me to find. Here is a relevant part of what it looked like back in 2002 or so (I am sure there are a lot of broken links):
<dl> Before I wrecked my 1992 <a href="http://www.buick.com/">Buick</a>
Skylark in 1999, I took it to 49 of the 50 states in the U.S. I did not take
it to Hawaii with me, because, of course, my car was not a boat. However, my
Buick and I went from Portland, Maine to Portland, Oregon; from Monroe,
Michigan to Monroe, Louisiana; from Savannah, Georgia to Seattle, Washington;
from the Skyway Highway in Chicago, Illinois to the Top of the World Highway
in Chicken, Alaska; from below sea level in a tunnel in Baltimore, Maryland,
to the <a href="http://www.munyon.net/mtevans/">highest</a> paved road in the
nation
on <a href="http://www.montrose.org/scenics/byways/evans/evans.htm">Mount
Evans, Colorado</a>; from the smallest county in the U.S., New York County,
New York (which has a size of 22 square miles), to the largest county in the
U.S., San Bernardino County, California (which has a size of 20,062 square
miles); from Mexico to north of the Artic Circle in Fort McPherson Northwest
Territories Canada; from Lake Okeechobee, Florida to the five Great Lakes;
from coast to coast and all in between. Wow, that was fun!</dl></ul>
