Headlamp protection

Is anyone doing any protective film for their headlamps? I got a quote for $48 per light to be wrapped with xpel which seems pretty high, I want to protect my headlights against cracks from rocks and possibly prevent the plastic from turning milky color after some years like you can see on many older cars.

RedC7 you do not want to use their 30 mil film. Its too thick. Just get either Xpel Ultimate film or Suntek... both are self healing and will prevent chips and headlight oxidation.

Glen-E happy to see your on here also promoting your Opti-Coat, but it doesn't prevent rock chips. A protective film is the only option here.
