Hello,

I just picked up my Stingray this past week and have already put around 150 miles on it. I have a question that hopefully you guys can answer. My heads up display seems to default back to the full gauge layout every time I start up the car. Even though I always press the info button and switch it back to the plain view, that just displays my speed and gear. The brightness and location of the HUD stays right where I want it though. Have you guys seen this issue at all? I honestly haven't had the chance to read thoroughly through my manual yet so it might mention it in there.

By the way, this car is amazing and I'm loving every minute of it. This has been the only issue I have ran into so far.

Thanks!

My HUD appears defaults to different things depending on which drive mode I am in when I start the car/
I would actually like my HUD always stay in "track" mode, but that doesn't appear to be an option. So I have to hit the info button multiple times.

My main dash is in link to drive mode however. Not sure if the behavior changes if that changes.

I was told this has to do with the seat safety switch (located in back of seat and designed to keep seat back from cracking). When this switch trips it seems to reset the HUD settings. There is a fix they can apply or you can just make sure to not have your seat so far back as to trip the switch (I have had some success) I think I may have them fix the switch.

I took delivery of my C7 last night. I was adjusting the HUD at the dealership and moved it down on the windshield as low as it would go. Now it's stuck there. Wont move up and I can only see half of the HUD display. Obviously dealership said they would take care of it but I don't want the entire dash removed on a brand new car. Nothing but rattles and squeaks will result.
Has any one had or heard of this HUD issue? Any ideas on a fix?

Thanks!

2014C7, maybe the dealership can reset the codes without diving into your dash. My AC had went out and they reset the codes, it has been 100% since then.
