Is there any way to fit it on a 1LT? I'm planning to get a 1LT very soon, but don't see the reason to upgrade to the 2LT on my case, just will miss the HUD:(

If you have a minute, do a line by line comparison between the 1LT and the 2LT, you will see a big difference. If you are used to personal settings (seats, mirrors, etc.) in other vehicles you have, and you want the same, the 2LT may be the way to go. IMO, the 1LT is bare bones.

Almost everyone I've talked to who got the 1LT, they had buyer's remorse because they didn't get the 2LT.

Xipe, after reading Mobius' install with pictures, I would highly recommend the 2LT, if you dont have the cash right now, save a bit more because its looks like hell to do and you'll pay out of the ass for someone to do it!

My 03 Z06 was my first car with HUD. It is a must have option for the "aware driver" and the 2014-16 is far superior. I can even see the HUD with polarized sun glasses

Agree. Had it on my C6 and believe it is a safety feature. Great for fast driving where you can look ahead at the tach while keeping an eye on the road. Getting in an out of the Vette a lot easier with the seat back and up. Missed a sub woofer in the C6 and with Boise PIA and expensive to add. I'm happy with the the one in mine. Good enough. Garage door opener with Home Link is useful. The new vented seats are a nice option in the summer. It does increase the time for the heated seats to get warm because of the construction but it gets there and has to be lowered.
