Is anyone heading to the Houston Auto Show next week? Any idea if the Stingray Z06 will be there?

There are only two completed Z06's. One will obviously stay at NAIAs through Sunday, the 26th. The other one "went missing," immediately after the NAIAS press days. Many believe it is heading to Barrett Jackson for auctioning this Saturday night, but that is not confirmed. Perhaps the best way to help predict the answer the tour question as to whether it might go from there to Houston, is to know whether not it the StingRay also went from Barrett Jackson to the Houston auto show last year?

Just checked, and as of this afternoon, GM has not officially confirmed any C7 Z06 auto show appearances (of course other than NAIAS). This is similar to what we "didn't know last year at this time," i.e., lack of confirmation so far doesn't mean that there won't be any more auto show appearances in 2014.

Similarly to last year at this time, there are only two "show cars" at this time, and, GM will not send a testing, "manufacturing validation build" vehicle to an auto show.
