I have an ancient Ipod that appears to be full. While listening to an FM station, I keep getting a black screen message saying that the system is attempting to tag the song but the Ipod is full. Each time, I need to dismiss/exit that screen. Menus give me the option to tag songs but I can't find a way to stop that process. I could probably disconnect the Ipod but would prefer a more convenient solution. Anyone know if there is a way to 'disable' tagging? Thanks much.

You can only do this from itunes, go to music, and uncheck them or delete playlist.

Thanks but I don't want to delete any music, I just want to stop it from attempting to load new music. The ipod is ancient; given to me a few years ago, loaded with music that I like. It really doesn't work very well either... only plays. Also not a member of itunes and never used it. Guess I'm stuck with the message and the need to physically dismiss it.
