Im asking with you using a cteck charger .
We have gotten an average of 8 years on our C7 Vettes by keeping our AGM batteries on a Battery Tender when not being driven. I have the same result with my GMC Sierra, now going on 7 years. Both AC Delco and Sears Die Hard Gold AGM's have given great/similar results.
Purchased my 2019 C7 Grand sport in May, 2018. Replaced the battery April 2025. 20,400 miles. We have gotten an average of 8 years on our C7 Vettes by keeping our AGM batteries on a Battery Tender when not being driven. The original OEM (3 Yr Wtty) battery in my 2016 Z06 expired exactly 4 years from date I took delivery. Car is always kept on the factory Ctek charger when up on the lift for the winter or for any period expected to be longer than about 2 weeks. The dealer parts guy said they no longer sold the 3 yr battery so I got a Delco replacement that had a 4 year warranty. It is still in place operating fine after five years. The longest I got out of a battery was eight years on a Die Hard installed in my '93 ZR-1, also always on a charger in the winter. --Bob
My 2014 Premiere Edition Convertible had the original battery until May 2025. It was in storage with a battery tender attached for over 4 years. Never had one last that long.
