I am wanting to see what the best way is to black out the reflectors on the sides and also the chrome piece in the front of the grill??

What did others do on the forum:

Is it painted or are there some type of vinyl pieces that you can purchase (if so from where) that can black these pieces out?

Thanks!

See my build thread in my signature.... for the chrome strip you can:

use plastidip @ dipyourcar.com
paint it
use sticker vinyl - vettefx.com
true carbon fiber

for the dot stickers get the vinyl overlays from rpidesigns.con - not the acrylic...

the easiest chrome strip fix is the vinyl....if you are all thumbs, get a tint shop to put in on for $20....

As far as the chrome strip fix on the front grill, I am looking on Vettefx.com website and they have a few different color options. Do you know which one will blend in the best with the front grill:

*carbon flash metallic black
* flat black
*carbon fiber

I would prefer for it to look like the rest of the grill, or as close to it as possible.

Thanks Glen!

Then that would be the flash.....but seriously, after it goes on you never look at the grill again and people certainly don't look at the grill once it's blacked out, so anything really works .....it's only up to you and how OCD you may be..... I use the matte flat black because I just want it to go away.....
