2 tips...don't try and put stinger or regular stripes on in the wind......$200 worth of stripe was garbage in 15 seconds.....

what is more approp is "the village idiot screws up a good car"...probably the best was installing a new CAI on my '13 Camaro 2SS, and dropping a wrench across two terminals under the hood and wiping out an ECM to the tune of $1000 or so, to get it hauled in and replaced/You could even subtitle your thread: "Failed Mods (or good for a laugh) thread".

Manufacturers and their vendors will tell you whether their wheels are for "street" use or street and track. Most of your forged wheels are going to be a better option but a lot of the big high dollar showy street wheels aren't meant for the track and there have been quite a few threads of aftermarket wheels breaking under road course duty. One of my sets of street wheels (though not my specific model) broke on a road course after being advertised for the track and there was a big issue about the company standing behind them. Your wheels like TSW and Forgeline have great reputations on the track and Forgeline is one of my favs. That's the most recent set of street wheels I bought and they're making me a custom spec'ed set for the C7 right now as well. When shopping for after market wheels, how do you know if they can handle the side loads the C7 can create?
a good dealer can save you more than you'd think off of thatForgeline are great wheels, too bad the monoblocks with the clear smoke finish are $7040!
