Prescott, AZ (established 1864) is a mere 2,273 miles away from my home in Maryland. 6 Months ago I decided I would pay a surprise visit to two very special Corvette people, a great couple that has been influential not only with their local Corvette Club but with many charity's in their Region. So my plan was to keep my arrival quiet and show up to their Friday night 250 person meet and greet the night before the show. 289 Corvettes were pre registered but the pending Weather report kept about 60 Corvettes away. So my plan worked as I was sitting in the lobby of the 100+ yr old Hotel I was staying in. She walked in and her husband drove away instead of attending with her as he decided to run errands and would return two hrs later not knowing I was in the hotel. I sat and talked with many of the Corvette folks and had a great time...especially listening to them say that they couldn't believe I popped in to see their local Corvette show! They know how busy I am but it was my pleasure and I got to finally meet many of my Corvette customers from out West that did Corvette orders with me only to pick their Corvette up at the Museum or have it drop shipped to their local dealer. As a matter of fact one Courtesy delivery was happening up the street that day and another will be doing the same within two weeks! So below are a ton of pictures of the show and unfortunately I found out in the afternoon what happens up at their elevation of 5300 ft when a storm from the West meets a storm from the East...it rained hard!!
So I left the Balt/Wash DC area Friday morning at 8am EST...

and arrived in Phoenix 10:30am Pacific...drove North up Rte 17 + 89.

First thing I see at the Phoenix airport Friday morning...

Friday Night meet and Greet.

~Of course they put me to work!....no worries.

Lots of men in town dressed in the Western garb of the past.

The Kerezman's took Museum delivery and drove it home to Glendale, AZ...first time we had met.

Cheri and Jim did Museum delivery as well and then had Plycon ship it home to Surprise, AZ...so this was the first time we had met also!

Back a few months at the museum...

and yesterday...

Original owner 1963 split window!!

Pacific edition on display by GM...

and the evolution of Firestone tires on display...

and then the skies opened up and the rains came...

Had a great time!!!:flag:

Thanks Mike for the adventure story and the wonderful pictures.

Looked very closely at the Pacific Edition splitter and skirts as the last we have collectively heard, and please update us if you know changed information, is that the Pacific Edition has the identical splitter and skirts as the Stage 2, CFZ optioned Z06.

You are correct about the splitter John...

More importantly, this story had 50 plus pictures but I am only able to post the story with a cap of 30 pictures...can you ask the wizard of oz to allow me more pics? Please.

I saw both the Pacific Design Edition and Atlantic at Bloomington Gold this Summer. The Pacific had same aero as Stage 2 ZO6.
