When I ordered my C7 I hadn't been on aby forums and since I was antsy I just answered questions, regarding my options mainly.

My dealer assured me that he was selling at MSRP plus taxes, title and doc fees.

I have read on here that I should get a workbench order print out. Is that a PDF? Am I missing anything else I should have got, 'cause I gave a $1000 deposit. I have since moved up to 3400 status, but I'm not planning on making any changes so I should be alright there. All dealers are different, but mine never notifies me of anything. I keep asking for a TPW, but to no avail.

What else should I prompt him to send me?
Thanks, Steve

just ask him to go on the GM dealer system and print you out a GM workbench of your Order. He can do it every day if he wanted to. Remind him you're going to give him a survey when all is done by GM, and you "want" to give him great marks for fulfilling all your needs - like this one..

I received a workbench order printout on the day I ordered in July. It's a simple printout. Also had communication issues with my dealer throughout a very long wait for delivery. The dealer (inventory/sales mgr.), can also print out an event log that lists pre-production progress (event codes and dates) ending in your current 3400 status. After your C7 is built, 3800, you can still get the log but delivery is really in the hands of transportation, at that point, assuming a short (hopefully) quality check.

Doesn't look like too many C7s in your area. I just visited Calabash, Bolivia, and Myrtle and friends tell me they have yet to see a C7 anywhere. Yours will be a welcome addition!

Thank you Glen and Georgio

Although it's Sat. I'm gonna send my sales guy an e-mail asking for the workbench order.
I hopefully will pick it up this month, but the weather in Md. may not be very good for driving the C7.

If you know your at 3400 thru your dealer, then he is way above average in keeping you informed. TPWs are not always available, as GM is somewhat reluctant to give them out, based on the fuss raised by folks whose build date moved, for whatever reason.
