Had a random thought yesterday that I'd need to add a sports car to the insurance sometime in the near (I hope) future. Since it's not going to be a car show/car event only car, outfits such as Haggerty are out.

What are other doing out there?

It is on my AARP/Hartford policy. Very reasonable- middle of the range (all identical coverage limits and deductables) of the 3 cars I have on it.

I am assuming... that it is now, as it was years ago... the biggest factor in insurance rates for a Corvette, is the AGE of it's driver. If you are in your 50's (maybe even 40's?) or higher, it isn't much different than any other car of it's price range... but if you're in your 20's... there might be a price to pay for being young (believe us older guys, this stuff is still as much fun, years later... even cheaper). I guess insurance companies assume the younger people are wilder drivers?

I'm with Allstate and added the C7 to my 07 Altima 3.5 policy. Annual premium difference is $700. I was pleasantly surprised.

I'm a 26 year old male, with State Farm, and for full coverage w/ uninsured motorists. I'm at $93 a month/ $558 every 6 months. Granted I am a homeowner and I have multiple policies with them so that helps.

What's funny is I was paying $128 monthly for my supercharged jaguar XF that I just sold. Went down $35 a month!

For those who are not using it as a daily driver, not running errands, etc., suggest a call to Adam or Bobbi Jo at the National Corvette Museum. There have been more than a few who have saved hundreds with a phone call to: 1.800.53.VETTE.
