Interior care

The owners manual suggests that the leather seats should be cleaned/cared for with soap and water. Surprises me. Any suggestions/endorsements re: leather care/cleaning products would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Lexol has been the go to standard for a lot of higher end vehicles and is available at most any auto parts store. I've used it for well over 15 years and it has performed great on everything from a restored 911 to a brand new Jeep.

Remember, you have coated leather, so the surface is plasticized, not leather, any good all purpose cleaner will work...

Interesting, that explains why the treatment didn't work as well on the new American cars I've owned recently.
